Whippersnappers was born in Greenville, SC in 2014. Thrifting is in my bones cause my mama raised me right! So it was only natural for me to take my love of thrifting and open my own store.

We love providing an outlet for you to recycle your gently used kids and maternity items back into the community.

We’re adding to our team and looking to fill a part-time sales associate position

You will be expected to provide an efficient and courteous customer experience with a high level of energy, professionalism, and positivity. We are looking for a team player!! Someone who is a do-er and has an ‘I can figure this out’ mentality. 

Days/Hours

This position is part time (approximately 20-25 hrs a week) but does require you to work an entire shift (10-5:30). Must be able to work every other Saturday (10-5) and Sunday (12-4)

Other Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, while climbing a latter 
  • Ability to lift objects over your head
  • Ability to distinguish colors
  • General keyboard and computer skills
  • Ability to learn our point of sale and credit card processing system.
  • Ability to maintain a friendly, customer service disposition during the entire shift. 

Skills:

We’re looking for someone who can communicate effectively, work under pressure, make decisions independently and self-motivate, is good at time managing off a to-do list, is organized, and is a team player. Our sales floor associate enjoys a fast paced work environment and has a desire to meet and exceed assigned goals. 

Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer service to include checking out customers, answering the phone, helping customers find inventory on the sales floor, helping to load and unload larger items for the customer, put back unwanted items, becoming familiar with brands/products/prices to ensure excellent customer service. 
  • Maintaining store displays, organizing and cleaning the sales floor, creating ways of re-organizing inventory to accommodate incoming inventory, restocking inventory
  • Perform housekeeping duties 

 Benefits and Pay:

Our sales associate receives a wide range of benefits including an employee discount, yearly raises & bonus opportunities, first choice on all incoming inventory, and much more. This positions starting pay varies from $10-$11/hr.
